There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Sheffield United are showing an interest in Trabzonspor loanee Alexander Sorloth.

The Norway international has been in impressive form since his loan move from Crystal Palace last summer and this has brought him to the attention of other clubs.

It’s been claimed by Turkiye that Sheffield United are one of the clubs watching the progress of Sorloth as they look to the next transfer window. The Blades will be certainly be playing in the Premier League next season and Chris Wilder could look to bolster his attacking options.

Sheffield United have also been linked with Sorloth’s Trabzonspor teammate Uğurcan Çakır, following claims they made a €13m offer for the young goalkeeper during the last window.

Trabzonspor have an option to make Sorloth’s move permanent for €6m but there have been reports they could then sell him on for a profit if they activate this.

This season the Norwegian has made 36 appearances for the Super Lig side, scoring 25 goals.
