Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur claims Fenerbahce are interested in signing Sampdoria defender Omar Colley, but the Turkish club face competition from Sheffield United and Fulham.
Chris Wilder’s side have made a terrible start to their Premier League campaign and are currently sitting bottom of the Premier League with just one point from their opening eleven games. During those matches they’ve conceded 18 goals, scoring just five.
Fulham have also struggled since their return to the English top flight and they may need to recruit in the new year in order to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
The 28-year-old is also said to getting interest from Fenerbahce, who are in need of a central defender in the January transfer window, despite signing Mauricio Lemos and Marcel Tisserand in the summer.
Konur claims Fener officials will soon make first contact with Sampdoria with regards to signing the player. However, they may need to act fast with the reported interest from both Fulham and Sheffield United.
Colley, who joined the Serie A side from Genk in 2018, has made four league appearances so this season. His contract with Sampdoria will expire at the end of June 2022.
