Earlier today we carried claims from Italy’s TMW that West Ham have made an approach for Franco Vazquez of Sevilla.
It was claimed there’s confidence a deal can be done by the Hammers, seeing Vazquez leave Spain after spending two years with the La Liga club.
The Argentina born player joined Sevilla almost exactly two years ago for around €15m.
Sevilla’s local sport newspaper, Estadio Deportivo, have quickly picked up the claims and it seems like they’ve contacted someone at the club.
After going over what has been stated in Italy, it’s reported that sources at Sevilla have made it known an exit isn’t ruled out as long as a ‘good offer’ arrives for the player.
The 29 year old made 44 appearances for Sevilla last season, playing mainly as an attacking midfielder. He scored 5 goals and made 7 assists during that time.
Sevilla are always interested in a deal if it makes financial sense, and it depends on how high any potential West Ham offer is.
