Sevilla are keeping an eye on Pablo Sarabia and eyeing up a potential return for him after he leaves Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

That’s according to La Colina de Nervión, who report that Sevilla have their eye on their former player as he gets set to become a free agent.

Wolves have announced that Sarabia will be departing Wolves this summer when his contract expires in July. It will bring an end to a two year stay at Wolves in which he’s made 77 appearances, scored eight goals and registered 12 assists.

A return to Spain is now shaping up for the 33-year-old, with reports stating that Celta Vigo are currently the most interest in securing his services.

Sevilla, though, would also see signing their former player as a ‘very interesting opportunity’ for the club’s leadership, led by Victor Orta.

Sarabia is still well thought of at the Spanish club after managing 43 goals and 38 assists in 151 games for the club from 2016 to 2019. His numbers for the club remain the best of his career, in terms of appearances, goals and assists.

For now, Celta Vigo appear to be at the forefront but Sevilla would be interested too, thanks to him leaving Wolves on a free transfer this summer.
