Brighton & Hove Albion’s Yasin Ayari is a hot candidate to change clubs in the summer window.

That’s at least what Fotboll Direkt are reporting, and they state the 21-year-old’s form for the Seagulls this season hasn’t gone unnoticed.

The midfielder joined Brighton from Swedish side AIK Fotboll and was on loan at Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers last season.

Since returning to The Amex, the Sweden international has managed to become a regular under Fabian Hürzeler’s orders. He played 1,942 minutes from 35 games this season.

Ayari is having the best season of his career and he’s attracted interest from other clubs. According to the report, several clubs are ‘signalling bids’ for him in ‘just a few weeks’.

There’s no mention of the details of these clubs or an indication of their league[s]. Fotboll Direkt don’t report on the fee these teams are willing to offer for the Brighton man or who is currently leading the race.

The Swede has a contract until 2027, and the report states interested parties are well aware Brighton’s demand is close to SEK 400m [€36.6m].

AIK will receive money if Brighton were to sell Ayari in the next window as they have a 15% sell-on clause, and perhaps this reporting from Sweden is motivated by wishful thinking on behalf of the club.
