Arsenal ‘ready to push’ for signing – Arteta’s side ‘ready to take action’ as price edging higher

Arsenal have shown interest in Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu and this has been reported in the Turkish press for the past few months.

Last week, Milliyet stated the Gunners have agreed personal terms with the left-back.

Star Gazetesi state the 24-year-old has ended up on the radar of several European clubs and among those, Arsenal are the ‘most serious suitor’.

It’s further claimed Mikel Arteta’s side ‘will take action’ and are ‘ready to push’ to meet all the conditions to try to secure his services in the summer window.

There was an assumptions the Turkey international would leave the Istanbul club in the next window, but that may no longer be the case.

Fenerbahçe have appointed José Mourinho as their new manager, and Star Gazetesi state the Portuguese tactician wants to keep Kadıoğlu, amid interest from Arsenal.

At the same time, the report states the Yellow Canaries expect a fee around €30m to part ways with the player. This indicates they aren’t completely against the idea of selling, despite Mourinho’s desire to retain him.
