According to a claim in the Italian media, Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has rejected the chance to head to England.
The Croatia international has been linked with West Ham United and Aston Villa.
TMW have reported Badelj will not be heading to West Ham or Aston Villa despite offers from the English clubs. The 29 year old will be a free agent in the coming weeks when his contract with Fiorentina expires, but the Serie A side will still make attempts to keen the player.
It’s claimed lucrative offers have come in from West Ham and Aston Villa, but it seems the playmaker wants focus on the World Cup with Croatia, which also goes for speaking about an extension with his current club.
There are also claims he may have turned down Aston Villa because they failed to get into the Premier League after their playoff final loss to Fulham.
