Bought in the summer from Marseille, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is being given the time to adapt to English football by Mauricio Pochettino.

Explaining the situation in a press conference back in December, the Argentinean manager said it was ‘difficult’ to assess him so soon after his arrival, needing confidence before playing regularly.

However, if Il Messaggero are to be believed, the French winger could be given a way out to play regularly by AS Roma.

The Italian newspaper report Nkoudou has become a target for the Serie A side since West Ham are playing hardball with Sofiane Feghouli, and there is a chance Chelsea could refuse to loan out Charly Musonda Jr. if Antonio Conte wants to keep him for first-team duties.

Screen Shot 2017-01-13 at 16.19.23Roma are said to be ‘establishing contact’ with the Tottenham winger over a potential deal, although no details are printed.

Considering both the Sofiane Feghouli and Charly Musonda deals are supposed to be loans with a view to buy, we can only assume any offer for Mauricio Pochettino’s summer signing would be similar.

Having only made 11 appearances for Tottenham so far this season, regular football could do N’koudou the world of good, yet moving to Italy would hinder the whole ‘adapting to the Premier League’ thing currently going on at White Hart Lane.
