Over in Colombia, there is a lot of worry about the situation Davinson Sánchez is facing at Tottenham.

The centre-back is no longer a regular starter for Spurs, where he has seen the likes of Cristian Romero take his starting spot under Antonio Conte after the player was signed from Atalanta.

The fact the Argentine also returned to Tottenham as a world champion, having contributed to his nation’s success, hasn’t helped the Colombian, who is now being drip fed minutes.

That’s why El Futbolero are calling for Spurs to ‘sell him now’, as Romero has ‘erased him’ from the London side’s line up.

It’s said Sánchez is having a ‘hard time’ under Antonio Conte, sat on the bench ‘watching the others play’, and he has gone ‘from more to less’ at Tottenham.

While he wasn’t an undisputed starter before, it’s clear that ‘everything got worse’ for the centre-back after the Italian was put in charge of the Premier League side.

Now, ‘everything indicates’ that he could leave the club in the next few months, seeing as his current contract in London expires in 2024, meaning this summer would be the last chance for Daniel Levy to try and recoup some of that initial expenditure.

Time is ticking, and unless something changes drastically changes in the coming months for Sánchez, his exit is edging ever nearer.
