Besides all the competition from Premier League clubs such as Manchester City and Chelsea that has been created for the signing of Isco in the past few months, Real Madrid reportedly have now one more issue to be concerned of.
That’s because according to Mundo Deportivo today, their arch rivals from Barcelona are very interested in pipping both Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte to his signing.
The newspaper seems to be pretty sure of this, as they take claims from different sources, including Cadena Cope, to say the Barça board consider him to suit their style.
Isco wants to leave because he’s not getting all the minutes he expects, and with his contract expiring next season, the summer window would be Real Madrid’s last chance to make some money by selling him.
But Zinedine Zidane’s side obviously don’t want to see Isco joining Barcelona. Other clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus are all said to want him, so maybe, and that’s just us guessing here, Madrid could rush a deal with these clubs to stop the midfielder to join the Catalan side.
Newspaper Marca had a report yesterday saying Chelsea had already contacted Isco’s entourage as he looks for a way out of the club, and when the papers from Madrid and Barcelona agree about something… that’s because the player is most likely leaving.
