Jesús Vallejo’s decision to join Wolverhampton Wanderers on a loan deal has been nothing short of a nightmare and it’s likely coming to an end, if reports are to be believed.
The defender had options to join Granada, Leganés and Eintracht in Frankfurt, and has gone for the Andalusia option, which at this time of year feels a wise choice.
This was reported by Mundo Deportivo first on Wednesday and it was suggested the deal could be completed in the ‘coming hours’.
Thursday’s edition of Spanish newspaper AS also relays the claim as they state the Real Madrid owned player is about to leave for Granada.
It’s explained Vallejo had options from three clubs to leave Nuno Espírito Santo’s side in the winter market and after analysing it all for a few days, he made a decision to join Granada.
AS adds ‘agreement is close’ with a few fringes left to be sorted out. Therefore, the transfer could be made official today.
Vallejo will finally end his disappointing time with Wolves soon.
