Everton are one of the clubs believed to be interested in Malcom and Sport reported on Monday the Toffees have offered less than €45m to Barcelona for the winger.

It was also explained that Napoli and Inter Milan are interested in the 22-year-old, but they will only consider a loan deal with a purchase option.

This has also been relayed by CalcioNapoli24, who claim the Naples club want to sign the Brazilian on a temporary deal.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have identified Malcom as an alternative, after having difficulties in signing Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez.

However, the La Liga winners have rejected Napoli’s approach as their idea is to offload him on a permanent deal.

CalcioNapoli24 also joins Sport to claim Everton have made an offer for Malcom, which is around €40m.

The Merseyside club’s proposal is €5m short of what Zenit St Petersburg are thought to be offering for the wideman and the report claims he is close to joining the Russian club.

Though two different sources reported Everton made an offer for Malcom, they are behind Zenit in the transfer race for the South American.

It’s worth noting that Catalan sources yesterday denied any kind of offer from Zenit, and the Russian club made it clear they won’t meet the €40m asking price, so €45m sounds very unlikely.
