There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor are also in the race to sign Rangers defender Rıdvan Yılmaz.
There have been reports in recent days that Rangers could offload the Turkey international despite Philippe Clement starting him in the past three games.
Gune Bakis today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Yılmaz, following claims this week that Besiktas are looking to sign him in this transfer window.
The Turkish media outlet say Trabzonspor are also interested in signing their former player, and it’s claimed a meeting has taken place regarding the 23-year-old.
There’s no indication whether the Super Lig side would be looking to take the Rangers defender on loan or on a permanent deal.
Reports from Turkey yesterday stated Besiktas are looking to loan Yılmaz until the end of the season. The Istanbul side were linked with the Rangers man towards the end of the last transfer window but couldn’t get a deal done with Rangers.
It’s claimed the Black Eagles have also been in contact to sign the youngster and Rangers would be open to a loan deal.
