Juventus’ local newspaper Tuttosport have got themselves so full of World Cup excitement that there’s now endless transfer targets and nothing is impossible any longer.
After explaining repeatedly why a move for Sergej Milinković-Savić is probably not feasible, Tuttosport now have him as Juventus’ top transfer target. And if they can’t get him, well they’ll go for Paul Pogba, naturally.
Then there’s Mousa Dembele and Youri Tielemans, with it being claimed Juventus will today scout the two players in action for Belgium.
There’s a hiccup in that plan, because neither are currently expected to start the match against Panama.
Dembele has been linked to several Italian clubs over the past few weeks, with his agents flying to the country to have initial conversations.
A renewal at Tottenham looks difficult at the moment but if no Italian club wants to match Spurs’ asking, said to be €30m, then it may be a case of moving to China, renewing, or seeing out the final year of contract.
