Saudi Arabia could show up as a solution for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports today.
Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb is the one with an update on the player’s situation, as he’s been having few minutes in his loan at Galatasaray.
It’s said that Tottenham could then break his loan with the Turkish side and ‘look around’ to look for a new club for him.
French side Rennes, who recently lost Nemanja Matic, could be one of them, while Al-Ettifaq are also said to be interested.
The Saudi side have recently said goodbye to Jordan Henderson, and they could represent an option for Ndombele out of Europe.
Since joining Galatasaray last summer, the midfielder had 17 appearances, most of them as a substitute, and that’s why he only had 515 minutes on the pitch.
That makes it unlikely that the Turkish side will use their buying option over him, despite some optimism after his recent assist, so Tottenham should indeed look for solutions, as he still has a contract with the club until 2025 and they will likely want to recoup as much of their original expenditure as possible.
Now it’s up to the interested sides to start placing their bids for him.
