Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham United are in the picture to sign FC Porto’s Samu Aghehowa in the summer window.

The Portuguese club took the striker from Atlético Madrid last summer and he’s impressed for them this season, scoring 20 goals and registering three assists from 32 games.

Aghehowa’s form has seen Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham all take notice.

That’s according to Wednesday’s edition of A Bola, and they cover the Premier League quartet’s interest in the 20-year-old.

At the weekend, the Spain U21 international converted from the spot in his side’s 2-0 win over FC Arouca. It was the first penalty of his professional career.

A Bola’s report covers the frontman’s penalty and how his arrival was crucial for Porto to restructure their squad last summer. The former Atlético man has been able to contribute with goals this season.

He joins a small group that includes Radamel Falcao, Jackson Martínez and Mehdi Taremi to score 20 or more goals in their first season at Porto.

Aghehowa’s fine displays have aroused interest from England where Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham are all keeping an eye on him. The frontman could be on the move again in the summer.

Earlier claims from Portugal have stated he has a €100m release clause.
