Atalanta’s Ederson has emerged as a target for Manchester United in the last few months.

The Red Devils have been following the midfielder since last summer as reported by Alfredo Pedulla.

Quotidiano Sportivo have reported on Manchester United’s interest for the Brazilian and they state Ruben Amorim’s side are now the ‘’most concrete path’ to land the player in the summer.

Ederson has impressed for Atalanta this season, playing 42 times in all competitions and scoring four goals.

The report states Amorim first came across the 25-year-old during his time at Sporting after their Europa League clash with Atalanta.

Subsequently the Portuguese ‘would like’ Ederson at Manchester United, who already have a direct channel open with the Italian side due to their deals involving Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund.

This can help the English giants and puts them in an advantageous situation, even if Juventus are expected to push for the Brazil international in the summer transfer window.
