Manchester United have included Galatasaray’s Yunus Akgün in their target list, according to Sabah.
Akgün’s preferred position is on the left wing but he can operate on the right wing and as a No.10. He’s managed six goals and two assists from 16 matches this season.
New Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim is an admirer of the 24-year-old, Sabah claim.
They state Amorim included the versatile attacker in his target list at Sporting and has continued to maintain interest after arriving at Old Trafford.
It’s claimed the Portuguese coach added the Turkey international to his wish list as soon as he moved to Manchester United. The manager has provided a ‘positive opinion’ on the player.
The report states the Premier League side’ scouts have started keeping tabs on Akgün and will continue to follow him live in action for the Istanbul club until January.
Akgün’s deal lasts until 2026 and Transfermarkt values him at €6.5m. Sabah makes no mention of whether the player and Galatasaray are open to doing business with Manchester United, if they want to sign him in the winter market.
