Rangers are featured in most of the Monday sport sections around Europe.
Steven Gerrard’s side beat Celtic 2-1 on Sunday and it’s getting plenty of coverage. Ryan Kent opened the scoring for Rangers, before Odsonne Edouard deflected an equaliser in for Celtic.
Nikola Katic then put Rangers 2-1 ahead, before Alfredo Morelos got his almost customary red card.
For Calciomercato, it’s transfer interest which justifies a story. The Italian website reports both AS Roma and AC Milan are keen on Borna Barisic, with the Serie A clubs monitoring the player.
Milan could sell Ricardo Rodriguez during the January window, which would provide space, whilst Roma are looking for a deputy, and eventual successor, to Aleksandar Kolarov.
It’s not made clear whether the interest in Barisic relates to the winter or summer market, yet it has to be considered unlikely Rangers would let him go now.
Gerrard’s side are in a genuine title battle with Celtic, edging it if they win their game in hand, and selling used players surely isn’t on the agenda.
