Napoli are currently top of the Serie A table, with eight wins and two draws after ten matches. They’ve also been impressing in the Champions League, top of Group A with four wins from four and a very impressive 17 goals in the process.

NapoliCalcio report on Chelsea interest in Stanislav Lobotka.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has been a regular for the Italian side this season and one of the most important players for manager Luciano Spalletti. According to the report he’s been ‘a rock physically and mentally’ for the team and helped them to the success they’ve enjoyed in the current campaign.
Chelsea have ‘set their sights’ on him ahead of next summer, but Napoli will fight back against any interest. He has a contract lasting until June 2025, so there’s no worry in that regard but a renewal is being worked on anyway.
The idea is to secure Lobotka, reward him with a pay rise, and push away interest from Chelsea and others.
