Simone Zaza was an unused substitute for West Ham in their 1-1 draw against Stoke City at the weekend.
It is believed West Ham must pay Juventus €20m should Zaza make a certain number of appearances, and that could be holding him back.
The 25-year-old hasn’t found the back of the net in 9 appearances, and reports claim he could be on his way back to Italy.
Zaza has been linked with a move to Napoli, but now according to a latest report on Gazzetta dello Sport, that could be a bit complicated.
It’s no secret the relations between Napoli and Juventus aren’t great, especially after the sale of Gonzalo Higuain.
Aurelio De Laurentiis made it very difficult for Juventus to sign the Argentine, and the Turin side will be looking to return the favour.
However, it’s not something that can’t be worked around. West Ham could very well sign Zaza permanently, before selling him to Napoli.
