Last month, we covered news from Gianluca di Marzio about Everton’s interest in signing Roma’s Edoardo Bove and it was made clear the player seemed interested in a move to England. There is now more interest from the Premier League, with Fulham mentioned as a potential suitor.
Leeds United were also linked with the player and that was said to be the work of an intermediary.
There’s feeling that Roma could be forced to ‘sacrifice’ Bove because of their need to ‘make cash’ through sales, with the youngster one of the prime candidates to depart.
Fiorentina are also mentioned as an interested party but considering how previous reports have pointed towards Bove’s liking for England as a destination, the Fulham links are rather intriguing.
The 22-year-old broke into the Roma first-team under Jose Mourinho and has now become a regular under Daniele de Rossi.
