Newspaper Corriere Dello Sport today features a piece describing the market situations of a few Fiorentina players. One of them is Nikola Milenkovic, who could soon be leaving the club.

The report claims the ‘market sirens’ from the last season could be strong again this summer, ‘especially those from England’, where a few clubs have already been linked to the player.

There’s now a special mention to Manchester United, with the outlet recalling that the Red Devils have now ‘moved on his trail’ after sending scouts to watch Milenkovic in action for Fiorentina.

And it turns out La Viola could be open for a sale, but for that to happen, ‘the right offer is needed’.

Manchester United’s visit to watch Milenkovic had already been reported by the Italian media this month.

At the time, it was Gazzetta Dello Sport who claimed that officials from the Red Devils had appeared at Fiorentina’s games to see the defender.

It sees they might have been convinced by what they saw, but the big challenge for Manchester United is to make a convincing offer for the 24-year-old.
