Standard Liege and Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were involved in a fight in Porto last night, according to the local media.
The fans met in the north of Portugal, since the Belgian side are set to play Vitória Guimarães, while Wolves are facing Braga, both in the Europa League on Thursday.
Record was the first to report the fight, claiming that fans from both Standard Liege and Wolves damaged the Adega Sports Bar, with it being claimed they ‘wreaked havoc’.
Correio da Manhã adds that a female Standard Liege fan had to be taken to hospital after the incident. They report the fight between fans happened on José Falcão street.
There’s no published report from the local police so far, and no claims of any arrests, even though the events took place hours ago.
According to TVI, Standard Liege fans were those who broke the bar’s windows once they saw Wolves supporters inside.
