Bent spent last season on loan with Derby County’s local rivals Burton Albion, playing 15 games in the league and scoring 2 goals. However, the former England international couldn’t help prevent Burton Albion’s relegation to League One.

The forward spent three seasons at Derby County, making 58 Championship appearances for the club.
