Catalan newspaper Sport claims Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is ready to do ‘real madness’ as he is willing to make a bid of €300m for Neymar, if UEFA decide to hand serious punishment to Paris Saint-Germain.
There are still open investigations against PSG and UEFA are analysing the French club’s sponsorship deals because it appears to be more than two to three times above what other clubs have received so far.
In addition to this, the payment made by the Qatari bank is also being reviewed as they believe there are ‘hidden part’ of these sponsorship deals.
UEFA will give their verdict at the end of this month and should they face any sanctions, Perez is planning to make a mammoth bid for the 26-year-old.
Real Madrid lost the UEFA Super Cup to Atletico Madrid and that has triggered the alarm bells at the Spanish capital club, leading to desperate search of players to strengthen the squad.
Perez has other targets in mind and this includes Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi, Valencia’s Rodrigo and Timo Werner of RB Leipzig.
