Real Madrid are preparing a special presentation for Eden Hazard, reports Tuesday’s edition of Marca.
On Monday there were reports from the French media of an agreed deal to take the former Lille attacker to Spain for around €100m.
It was stated an announcement on the player’s Chelsea exit will come after the Europa League final.
Marca point out it will be before Hazard joins up with Belgium for their summer Euro qualifiers, and so will the presentation.
The final is on May 29th, and Belgium play Kazakhstan on June 8th. Assuming Roberto Martinez will want his squad with him a few days before the match, and pencilling in a potential Chelsea celebration, it doesn’t leave a great deal of time.
Marca say Real Madrid want to present the signing of the Chelsea star ‘in style’, which would likely include a stage at the Bernabeu with fans invited to welcome Hazard to the club.It’s not going to be a nice sight for Chelsea fans.
