Besides all the importance of last night’s match between Real Madrid and Tottenham for the Champions League group stage, there was another subject for the local press to be interested about, which was Harry Kane’s visit to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been linked to the La Liga club for quite some time now, mainly by the English press, and things are getting bigger media attention now for two reasons: the fantastic year he’s been having and his first time facing the Galacticos in Spain.

Kane performed well as Tottenham managed to get a 1-1 draw away at the Bernabeu and he’s been one of several of Mauricio Pochettino’s players to be praised by Madrid’s closest media.

And the Spanish press didn’t limit it to themselves to comment about the possible transfer, but also asked Real Madrid players about it.

One of them was the Brazilian right-back Marcelo, who spoke to the local journalists about several topics of the game, and Harry Kane’s name was mentioned by a reporter.

“Who? Oh, the striker. Very good. Great striker. What do you want with this question, huh?” he said, and started laughing right away (via Esporte Interativo).

Then he was asked if he would like to have Kane as a teammate: “My teammates are very good. Very good.”
