There’s a rumour growing in Spain saying Real Madrid would be interested in Manchester City youngster Brahim Díaz.

Diario Madridista report it, and now other outlets are covering the claim, that the La Liga side would be watching the midfielder and putting him on their list, as the club continues to look for young talents.

But before Manchester City fans get concerned about Real Madrid’s interest, it’s worth mentioning that Diario Madridista, or OK Diario, aren’t exactly one of the more reliable transfer sources.

This story was also reported on the TV show El Chiringuito, which is widely knowing for covering unbelievable transfer rumours about The Galacticos. So that’s one more reason for Manchester City fans not to worry to worry too much.

Anyway, Diario Madridista, who have the more complete information, are claiming that Díaz’s development is much followed by Real Madrid’s academy, and besides his playing skills, he’s highlighted for his professionalism and his will to get better everyday.

Diario Madridista says that if there’s a club who could convince the player to leave, that’s Real Madrid, and the good relationship between Florentino Perez and Sheikh Mansour could also help. It’s not exactly explained how that good relationship would see Manchester City want to lose a player.

Diaz is said to be much appreciated at Manchester City, and the 18-year-old has a contract running until 2019.

Despite all the fanfare in Spain, and it is fanfare, this one looks little at the moment.
