When it comes to transfers, it seems the focus is very much on young players for the top clubs these days.
With the success of the likes of Jadon Sancho, the elite clubs are all keeping their eye on young talent around the world.
Real Madrid are no different and it seems the plan is to continue it moving forward, which, according to El Desmarque, could affect both Chelsea and Everton.
The website says Florentino Pérez has a determination to ensure Madrid are a ‘young but well-prepared team’ and that has led to him identifying talent around the world.
He has four names on his list ‘marked in red’ and among them are Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Everton’s Moise Kean.
Kean swapped Juventus for Everton this summer but is struggling on Merseyside at present, with no goals in his first 11 games. That’s not deterred Madrid, though, who have him ‘on the agenda’.
Hudson-Odoi, meanwhile, has carried on where he left off with Chelsea last season and continued to impress under Frank Lampard.
He is the player that Real Madrid really like and one manager Zinedine Zidane is keeping a close eye on.
Either player, as well as Samu Chukweze and Erling Braut Haaland, could end up at the Bernabeu in the near future, with Pérez following them all ‘closely’ according to the report.
There’s no suggestion that Madrid will make moves for any of the players any time soon, but it seems both Chelsea and Everton may be facing a fight to keep their young stars sooner rather than later.
