The Spanish media still can’t accept that Real Madrid failed to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus, so they had to ask the club manager Zinedine Zidane what he thought about the player’s transfer to Manchester United.
“I don’t think anything about Pogba, he’s a Manchester United player and that’s it”, the French legend told reporters (via Mundo Deportivo) “I wish him the best, nothing else.”
When asked about the €120m spent in the transfer, Zidane said: “It’s what transfer matters are all about, they paid it and that’s it.”
Zidane also commented on the Real Madrid squad situation, but didn’t seem very eager to hint on possible transfers.
“We have many players in midfield. I won’t say I’m going to ask for another midfielder because I don’t know how we’re going to do for all those who are here to play. It’s the manager’s problem. All the players who are staying will be important because the group is more important than one player. Until the 31st, everything may happen.”
As for Paul Pogba, the player has already posed for pictures wearing a Manchester United shirt, so the official announcement should be made in a matter of hours.
