The Brazilian press continues to have daily updates on Philippe Coutinho’s transfer saga, with the latest stories being quite positive for Barcelona’s point of view.

On Thursday, outlet UOL had a report claiming that Coutinho’s agents Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci had both travelled to England to bring Liverpool an offer of €160m.

Now the player’s agents are once again named in a story, this time in Goal Brasil’s blog Ora Bolas.

The article has information which is actually a bit different from UOL’s. They claim that Bertolucci is now in Spain, where he hopes to close the deal with Barcelona.

The blog claims the agent was on vacation in Miami, and without mentioning the trip to London, it’s hard to know whether the story is similar UOL’s or not.

But just like UOL, Goal claims the agents hope to close the deal over the weekend, especially because the personal terms were agreed a long time ago, and the Liverpool transfer is said to be ‘well forwarded’.

They also say there was an approach from Real Madrid days before Christmas, and Bertolucci even met the club officials. But so far, no official bids were made to Liverpool by the Galacticos.
