Noussair Mazraoui’s season with Ajax continues to be highlighted by the Dutch media, where his future is now debated ahead of the summer transfer window.
Speaking to ESPN this weekend, Eredivisie veteran Karim El Ahmadi claimed the 24-year-old defender has a bright future ahead, and even suggested some clubs he can be playing for in the new future. One of them are Manchester City.
“When I see him now, he is world class for me,” El Ahmadi told ESPN (via Voetbal Primeur).
“He’s ready for any football team. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, he is ready.”
By being one of Ajax’s young talents, Mazraoui has, of course, been linked to several clubs lately.
When featuring the quotes, Voetbal Primeur points out that the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Milan are some of the clubs who were recently been interested in signing him.
It turns out that Premier League sides such as Leeds United have recently been named as potential suitors for his signings as well, while Manchester City seem to be still to enter that race.
Now with that suggestion, perhaps it’s time for Manchester City to open their eyes for that talent.
