Reading are reportedly making a move to sign Swansea City winger Modou Barrow this summer. According to Tutto Mercato Web, this will be the club’s next transfer move after signing Vito Mannone from Sunderland.

The Italian  website doesn’t give any details on how much Reading could be spending on the player, and only say he ‘should’ be bought and make the trip to Reading and be under Jaap Stam’s orders.

Signed from Swedish side Östersunds in 2014, the winger was never able to convince at Swansea City, making only 55 appearances for the club. He had loans at Blackburn Rovers, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United in the past few seasons, but didn’t manage to be a regular in these squads either.

This is not the first time Tutto Mercato Web shows up with a Reading exclusive lately. Despite having very few sources at English clubs, it seems they’re well informed about the Royals.
