Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is highlighted in Spanish newspaper Marca, as the outlet managed to interview his agent, Mateja Kezman.
The representative had a lot to say about the qualities of his client, which have been attracting several European sides to watch him, and creating loads of transfer rumours.
These rumours were exactly what Marca were interested in, especially because local club Real Madrid would be in the list of sides who are keen on the 23-year-old. And with the competition from Manchester City being reported in the past few weeks, the story is only getting bigger.
First asked about a possible €170m offer from Paris Saint Germain for the player, the representative tried to dodge the question, saying “it’s hard to talk about numbers”.
Marca then affirmed that Manchester City and Real Madrid would both be interested in signing him as well. Kezman didn’t really want to answer that either, but still teased with the long list of clubs who should be making up competition for the player next summer.
“There are many great clubs in Spain, England, France… interested in Sergej, you must read between the lines.”
With the agent making it clear that the big sharks are all around Milinkovic, Manchester City better be aware that this auction won’t be easy to win. Maybe Pep Guardiola’s skills to convince players to join the club will be very useful in this case.
