Often when it’s clear a player is no longer of use to a club, supporters will say things like they’d drive him to the airport to help a transfer go through.

Well, with Aaron Ramsey and Juventus, it’s likely they’d drive him to the airport, pay for a private jet, hold his hand for take-off and then stick around until he signed a contract with another club.

Fans, media, and seemingly Juventus themselves, have had enough of the Welshman. His high wages, and a feeling he’s always prioritised Wales over the Turin club, have helped to create a situation which is anything but settled.

Corriere Torino cover this, and explain that Everton and Newcastle remain in the picture to sign him. Those two Premier league clubs have been linked heavily in recent days, with it repeatedly said Ramsey’s wages are a sticking point.

He’s paid something like €7-8m a year after tax, and doesn’t want to give it up, on top of that his agents are also due loyalty bonuses if he stays. So not only would Juventus present Ramsey on a plate to Everton, they wouldn’t ask for anything in return.

Corriere Torino say he’s ‘reached the end credits’ of his Juve career, and they want rid in January, yet, until Everton or someone out else can sort out the wage issue… it seems Ramsey isn’t budging.
