Kosovo Football Federation president Agim Ademi has spoken to Syri TV and claimed Liverpool are interested in Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica, along with RB Leipzig.

The 23 year old has been a key player for the German side this season and his performances have led to interest from Liverpool and RB Leipzig, says Ademi.

Speaking about Rashica, Ademi said, as covered by GazetaOlle: “There are lots of demands for our national team players. Rashica is wanted by Liverpool but RB Leipzig are also interested in him. I have confidence about his career plans because I know his agent Altin Lala will advise him properly.”

It’s likely Klopp will be looking to strengthen this squad in the summer, and it seems the Werder Bremen player could be an option for the Premier League leaders.

If the Kosovo international was brought to Anfield during the next window it’s likely he would provide back up to Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The former Vitesse winger has made 24 appearances for Werder Bremen this season in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.

Rashica is contracted to the Bundesliga side until June 2022, but it seems they may have a battle to keep him beyond this season.
