Fotomac report Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are set to rival each other for Olympiacos left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas, but they face competition from Rangers.
Borna Barisic has been Gerrard’s regular left back this season and it’s likely Tsimikas would be brought in to compete with the Croatian.
With Rangers neck and neck with Celtic in the race for the league title, Steven Gerrard could look to bolster his squad during the next window.
Both Istanbul clubs are in the market for a left-back in January but Fotomac report they may have to compete with the Ibrox club.
Along with Rangers, Gala and Fener, it’s reported Fiorentina, Nice, Werder Bremen and Rennes are also following the player and the Scottish Premiership club may have to act quickly to sign the 23 year old.
Tsimikas has become an important member of Pedro Martins’ side this season and this has led to attention from other clubs.
He’s made 19 appearances for Olympiacos in all competitions this season, providing three assists. His contract at the Georgios Karaiskakis will expire at the end of June 2023.
