Spanish newspaper Marca has produced a list of players who Barcelona are in a ‘race against the clock’ to get rid of, and one is said to be of interest to Crystal Palace.
In a table of players and who wants them, Palace are mentioned alongside Munir El Haddadi. The Premier League club are named with Alaves and Ajax.
Marca say Barcelona are again going to have to lower their demands to get rid of some of the fringe players, with things not currently moving quick enough for the club.
Interested clubs know Barca need to trim the fat, and therefore any offers coming aren’t as attractive as had been hoped for.
Munir is still only 22 years of age, and spent last season on loan at Alaves. Playing as a centre forward he scored 14 goals and made 6 assists, it’s not a bad return and it’s perhaps a surprise nobody has bagged themselves a bargain move.
From the player’s perspective, it would be no surprise if he feels it’s better to stay in La Liga than chance his luck somewhere like Crystal Palace, but he needs to find a home.
The other players on the list are Andre Gomes, Rafinha, Thomas Vermaelen, Marlon, Yerry Mina, Jasper Cillessen, Sergi Samper and Aleix Vidal.
All of those are, to varying degrees, available this summer.
