It looks like Sandro’s move to Sporting is really off. After Jornal de Notícias, it’’s now A Bola and O Jogo who are confirming that the negotiations are not taking place anymore.

The 27-year-old reportedly accepted a pay cut to join the Portuguese side, but his demands were still not enough for Sporting to afford it. The deal with Queens Park Rangers was no problem, since the clubs had agreed a €1.5m fee a few weeks ago.

Sporting have now bought the Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Radosav for the same price and the Portuguese media say the signing should put Sandro’s name off their shopping list for this summer.

Premier League side West Bromich have chosen not to use their buying option over Sandro, and now that the negotiations with Sporting didn’t go through, the midfielder is still on the transfer market.

Despite having an year left on his contract with QPR, he doesn’t want to play the Championship for the club next season.
