Hevertton Santos is on the verge of leaving QPR after a mixed time at the club, with multiple reports in Portugal going over the details of the player’s exit from the Championship side.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Sporting CP but couldn’t make it to the big time in Lisbon. He moved on to Estrela Amadora before signing for QPR in July of last year.

With less than 500 minutes, things haven’t really gone according to plan and the Brazil-born player is heading back to Portuguese football.

Wednesday’s edition of A Bola reports he’s moving to Vitória de Guimarães on loan with an option to buy in the summer. The QPR player will be replacing Alberto Costa, who was sold to Juventus earlier in this transfer window.

Record, another Portuguese newspaper, report similar and state they’ve been told the purchase option stands at €2m.

O Jogo report the deal is all agreed and all that’s left is for Vitória de Guimarães to announce the arrival of the QPR player.

For the Championship club even the €2m would represent a profit given they signed Hevertton Santos as a free agent.
