According to a claim in the Swedish media, Queens Park Rangers were showing interest in IK Sirius forward Noel Milleskog during the last transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Swedish club in recent months following interest from Swansea City, FC Twente and now QPR.

Fotboll Direkt have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Milleskog and they say QPR came in with an offer for the attacker.

However, it’s reported IK Sirius turned down the advances from the Championship side and were only considering offers in the region of £2.2m. There are no reports what the west London offered for the player.

Despite their failed attempt to sign Milleskog it’s suggested QPR will go back in for the Swede during the next transfer window. Marti Cifuentes is said to be keen on the youngster and is likely to target him again in the summer.

In the last 12 months Milleskog has scored nine goals and provided four assists. He’s contracted to the Allsvenskan side until December 2028 after signing for them last year.
