According to a reports in the Turkish media, Trabzonspor are the latest club to show an interest in PEC Zwolle attacker Youness Mokhtar.

The Utrecht born player will be out of contract in the coming weeks and has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers.

Turkish sports agency Transfer Merkez have reported Mokhtar is a target for Trabzonspor this summer. They say the attacker was close to joining fellow Turkish side Kayserispor a couple of seasons ago, but the deal collapsed at the last minute.

Last month we covered reports from the Dutch media that QPR are also monitoring the situation with the 27 year old and could move in on the player in this transfer window.

QPR were given a boost by recent comments from PEC chairman Adriaan Visser who confirmed it’s likely Mokhtar will leave the Dutch club this summer.

Greek giants Olympiacos could also provide competition to QPR after claims he’s been offered to them.
