According to a claim in the Greek media, Olympiacos have been offered the chance to sign PEC Zwolle attacker Youness Mokhtar.

The Dutch born winger will be out of contract this summer and in recent weeks has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers.

Sdna.gr report Mokhtar has been offered to Olympiacos by his agent as his two year spell with PEC comes towards an end. The Greek giants are looking to rebuild their squad this summer and with Kevin Mirallas returning to Everton, Mokhtar could be an option to fill the void left by the Belgian.

Last month we covered reports from the Dutch media that QPR are also monitoring the situation with the 27 year old and could move in on the player in this transfer window.

QPR were given a boost by recent comments from PEC chairman Adriaan Visser who confirmed it’s likely Mokhtar will leave.

New QPR manager Steve McClaren will be also be aware of the forward as he would have come up against the player in his second spell at FC Twente.

Mokhtar incidentally signed for FC Twente just a few months after McClaren stepped down.
