Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has spoken during this latest international break after being linked with a move to Galatasaray earlier in the week.

We covered reports from the Turkish press a few days ago that Galatasaray assistant manager Hasan Sas watched him during Norwich’s 4-3 win against Millwall last weekend.

Sporx have reported on comments he made to the Finnish media: “It is obviously flattering, but at the same time I know that rumours always circulate. Most are not true,” he said.

Pukki added about the possibility heading to Turkey: “Me and my family are enjoying ourselves very much in Norwich.”

It’s been well documented in the Turkish media in recent weeks that Galatasaray are keen to bring in a forward during the next transfer window.

Pukki is one of many attackers that have been linked with a transfer to the Istanbul club, and it’s been claimed Hasan Sas was impressed with the Finland international’s performances last weekend after his two goals against Millwall.

With the Canaries currently topping the Championship table they will not want to lose one of their key players in January and his comments will give some comfort to the Carrow Road faithful.
