Paris Saint Germain chief Luis Campos is ‘particularly interested’ in Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport and Foot Mercato, who both claim the French giants are interested in the Portugal international.
Campos knows Silva from his time at Monaco and is ‘seriously studying’ the possibility of making a move for him this summer.
FM back this up, stating that Silva is ready to leave Manchester City after five years and has interest from Barcelona.
That potential deal is yet to take off and that has piqued PSG’s interest and the possibility of ‘inserting’ themselves into the mix.
Any move would be a ‘complex dossier’, not least because of the €80-85m it would take to sign Silva. PSG are not sure they can afford that right now and would need to secure sales from the current squad first.
If they are able to do it, though, Campos will make a move ‘without hesitation’. In fact, according to FM, he’s made the Manchester City star his priority for the last weeks of the transfer window.
They say that Bernardo Silva wouldn’t be opposed to a return to Ligue 1 so the door is open, although it is not one PSG are going to walk through any time soon.
