Ansu Fati will listen to any offers that come his way in the summer once his loan deal at Brighton and Hove Albion comes to an end.

That’s according to Sport, who say ‘proposals will be heard’, further opening the door to the forward potentially staying at Brighton long-term.

The newspaper explains that this season at Brighton will be one that determines Fati’s future, with it very likely he’ll be leaving Barcelona permanently next summer.

The youngster joined Brighton on loan after it was made clear that he was not a part of Barcelona’s plans for this season because of his problems with injury last year.

He thus joined the Seagulls and after an irregular start has now started to pick up the pace, beginning to perform and shine under Roberto De Zerbi, as many players seem to do.

That’s pleasing for Barcelona as they need to sell and Fati knows that he will never be indispensable there, so ‘proposals will be heard’. The belief is that if he keeps up his current form, or even better, improves it, then he will have plenty of them.

The player believes some of them will come from the Premier League, where there is money to be spent and ‘important clubs’ who could bid for him if he continues to perform at Brighton.

Then there is the Seagulls themselves, who still have cash to spare after another summer of big sales and would surely be keen on keeping the youngster if the opportunity was there.

Either way, it appears that a decision ‘will have to be made’ in the summer and Fati will be on the move, either back to the Amex or somewhere new entirely if the offers are there as expected.
