Benoît Badiashile has been a regular figure in Monaco’s starting lineup since last November and he’s made 26 starts in the league, out of which six are this season.

The 18-year-old’s performances have caught Chelsea’s attention and his displays have pleased them, according to Le10 Sport.

It’s claimed the radar of the Europa League winners is on the player, as the centre-back has been shortlisted by the Blues. The report also adds Frank Lampard’s side are following the teenager ‘very, very closely’.

The Ligue 1 club have no plans to let Badiashile leave before the end of the season. On the other hand, the west London club can’t register new players in the next window due to their transfer ban.

Le10 Sport explains the possibility of Chelsea agreeing a deal with Monaco for the player to move to Stamford Bridge during the next summer must not be excluded.

Badiashile’s current deal at Monaco will run down in 2021.
