Aleksandar Prijović has found himself the subject of Leeds United and Wolves rumours over the past few days, most of which have been coming from Poland.

The Serbian was born in Switzerland and plays for Greek side PAOK, so it’s not immediately obvious why the Wolves and Leeds rumours would be coming from Poland.

Prijović moved to PAOK from Legia Warsaw, and it appears that the Polish club’s sell-on clause has meant for increased interest from that direction.

Poland’s SE first linked Wolves and then brought Leeds United into it, and they claim that a move to the former would be a ‘dream’. That’s because Nuno Espirito Santo has got Wolves closing in on promotion to the Premier League, and it’s playing in England’s top division which is so attractive.

Sportske.net think otherwise, and point out that Prijović isn’t so needed by Wolves. With Leo Bonatini, Ivan Cavaleiro and Diogo Jota, the Serbian striker probably wouldn’t get a look in.

Therefore, the ‘principle of logic’ dictates a Leeds United move.

PAOK will accept €4.5m, and this rumour could just as easily disappear off the face of the transfer earth than turn into anything more concrete.
