Barcelona are already looking to next season as the club looks to bring in some big name players. A list has been comprised by Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez, which includes Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Some Barcelona stars are coming into the autumn of their career, whilst certain areas need to be strengthened. The Spanish side therefore want to address this in the summer, and Mundo Deportivo believe it’s possible an attempt will be made to bring Coutinho to the Camp Nou.
It’s also been claimed initial contact has been made by Barcelona for the Liverpool attacker, and it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out over the summer.
Despite Barcelona’s reported interest in Coutinho the player signed an extended contract with the Merseyside club earlier in the season.
His current deal made him one of the top earners to ever play for the club, and in the next window Liverpool will be hoping to fight off advances from Barcelona.
